Eurovision Song Contest Germany 2021
Jendrik Sigwart (* August 27, 1994 in Hamburg), also known as Jendrik, is a German singer and musical performer. He will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam. He learned the piano and violin as a teenager and studied musical and vocal pedagogy for four years at the Institute of Music at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. While still a student, he performed in various musicals. Sigwart also writes his own songs, which he publishes on YouTube, among other places. About the song "I Don't Feel Hate"
I Don't Feel Hate is an English-language pop song written by Jendrik. It is interpreted by himself. The music and lyrics were composed by Jendrik together with Christoph Oswald. The latter also produced the title. On March 18, 2020, Thomas Schreiber announced that Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) would first have to discuss with its creative team whether the German performer from 2020 Ben Dolic could also compete for Germany in 2021. On July 6, 2020, ESC officials announced that the German representative for ESC 2021 would be chosen using the same principle as the previous year. The 65th Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to take place at the Ahoy Arena in the Dutch city of Rotterdam between May 18 and 22, 2021. After the Netherlands won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest and the 2020 event in Rotterdam was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Eurovision Song Contest is now scheduled to take place there in 2021.
