Theme and logo
On September 18, 2020, the EBU announced that the theme from the canceled 2020 "Open Up" competition will be kept. The design of the logo should nevertheless be revised, according to Executive Producer Sietse Bakker. On December 4, 2020, the EBU published the new logo for the 2021 competition, which is strongly based on the 2020 design, but the abstract flags of the countries are no longer sorted by the debut year of each country. For 2021, the flags are arranged according to the location of the respective capitals around Rotterdam as the central venue in the middle. #eurovision #song #2021

Scenario B: A competition with social distancing
Under Scenario B, the competition would also be held with nine shows, but all people would have to be 1.5 meters apart. Only delegation teams would travel to the competition itself and the number of fans, press and delegation members would be reduced. If delegations are unable to travel to Rotterdam, pre-recorded videos of live performances by the artists would be used for the shows. The artists who can travel to Rotterdam will perform live during the show. #eurovision #song #contest #2021 #social #distancing #scenario
