He first became known in Norway for his party music, which is mainly used by young people in connection with the soot party. He has Tourette's syndrome and was also called "Tics" in his school days because of his tics. He eventually formed his stage name "TIX" from this name. About the song "Fallen Angel"

Fallen Angel is an English-language song with which TIX will represent Norway at the ESC. Both the English and Norwegian versions of the song received mostly negative reviews in the Norwegian press. Borge from NRK gave the song 2 points and described it as one of the weakest songs of the Melodi Grand Prix. He described the lyrics as predictable. The video first shows a boy with Tourette's syndrome who experiences bullying at school and who eventually turns out to be TIX. Haukeland explained that these were his own experiences. #esc #tix #eurovision #song #contest #2021 #fallen #angel
