Eden Alene (Hebrew עדן אלנה; born May 7, 2000 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli singer. She was supposed to represent Israel at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, which was cancelled. After the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was announced that Israel would be represented again by Eden Alene at the 2021 ESC. She will perform the song Set Me Free. Set Me Free is a pop song with which singer Eden Alene will represent Israel at the ESC 2021 in Rotterdam. It was written by Noam Zlatin, Ido Netzer, Amit Mordechai and Ron Carmi. The title was written in English, but contains few lines in Hebrew. The track was made available as a digital download and music stream on January 26, 2021. The music video was already released as part of the pre-decision. The new version was released on March 26, 2021 with a completely new music video. #eurovision #song #contest #set #me #free

The broadcast HaShir Shelanu L'Eurovizion took place on 25.01.21 and was the Israeli preliminary for the ESC 2021 in Rotterdam. The broadcast was held especially for the singer Eden Alene. In the end, the winner was Set Me Free, written by Noam Zlatin, Ido Netzer, Amit Mordechai and Ron Carmi. Already on March 22, 2020, a few days after the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, the Israeli broadcaster Kan announced that the singer Eden Alene, selected for 2020, would also compete for Israel in 2021. #eurovision #song #contest #eden #alene #set #me #free

    The 65th Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to take place at the Ahoy Arena in the Dutch city of Rotterdam between May 18 and 22, 2021. After the Netherlands won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest and the 2020 event in Rotterdam was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Eurovision Song Contest is now scheduled to take place there in 2021.
