Eden Alene (hebräisch עדן אלנה; * 7. Mai 2000 in Jerusalem) ist eine israelische Sängerin. Sie sollte Israel beim Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam vertreten, der abgesagt wurde. Nach der Absage des Wettbewerbs 2020 wurde bekannt, dass Israel beim ESC 2021 erneut von Eden Alene vertreten werden soll. Sie wird den Song Set Me Free vortragen. Set Me Free (englisch für Befreie mich) ist ein Popsong, mit dem die Sängerin Eden Alene Israel beim ESC 2021 in Rotterdam vertreten wird. Er wurde von Noam Zlatin, Ido Netzer, Amit Mordechai und Ron Carmi geschrieben. Der Titel wurde in Englisch verfasst, enthält jedoch wenige Zeilen auf Hebräisch. Der Titel wurde am 26. Januar 2021 als digitaler Download und Musikstream zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Musikvideo wurde bereits im Rahmen der Vorentscheidung veröffentlicht. Die neue Version erschien am 26. Die Sendung HaShir Shelanu L'Eurovizion fand am 25.01.21 statt und war der israelische Vorentscheid für den ESC 2021 in Rotterdam. Die Sendung wurde speziell für die Sängerin Eden Alene abgehalten. Am Ende gewann der Titel Set Me Free, der von Noam Zlatin, Ido Netzer, Amit Mordechai und Ron Carmi geschrieben wurde. Bereits am 22. März 2020, wenige Tage nach der Absage des Eurovision Song Contest 2020 gab die israelische Rundfunkanstalt Kan bekannt, dass die für 2020 ausgewählte Sängerin Eden Alene auch 2021 für Israel antreten werde. #eurovision #song #contest #eden #alene #set #me #free

    Der 65. Eurovision Song Contest soll im Zeitraum vom 18. bis zum 22. Mai 2021 in der Ahoy-Arena in der niederländischen Stadt Rotterdam stattfinden. Nachdem die Niederlande den Eurovision Song Contest 2019 gewinnen konnten und die Veranstaltung 2020 in Rotterdam wegen der COVID-19-Pandemie abgesagt wurde, soll der Eurovision Song Contest im Jahr 2021 nun dort stattfinden.
