The Roop ist eine litauische Pop-Rock-Band aus Vilnius. Sie besteht aus dem Sänger und Keyboarder Vaidotas Valiukevičius, dem Schlagzeuger Robertas Baranauskas und dem Gitarristen Mantas Banišauskas. Sie sollten Litauen beim ESC 2020 in Rotterdam vertreten, der am 18.03.20 aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie abgesagt werden musste. Jedoch konnten sie in der Ersatzveranstaltung des Ersten Deutschen Fernsehens den ersten Platz belegen. Soklič grew up in Bohinj. She won the EMA Evrovizija contest on 22.02.20 with the song Voda and was supposed to represent Slovenia at the ESC in Rotterdam in May 2020, but it had to be cancelled on 18.03.20.
