Натуральное масло лаванды используют в косметологии и лечении многих кожных заболеваний. Лаванда обладает противогрибковым действием и заживляет раны. Кроме этого, лаванду используют в лечении простуды и ревматизма. Эфирное масло лаванды успокаивает и расслабляет. Эфирно-масленичные культуры в селе Новая Кобуска начали выращивать еще в 1948 году. После распада Советского Союза поля не бросили и продолжили выращивать лаванду, шалфей, розы и другие культуры. Кстати, за один день работник поля может собрать до 300 килограммов цветов лаванды.
