Paris is more than 2,000 years old. Gauls settled there between 250 and 200 BC and founded a fishing village on an island in the river that is the presentday Ile de la Cité, the center around which Paris developed. Paris is located in northern central France. The Roop is a Lithuanian pop-rock band from Vilnius. It consists of singer and keyboardist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, drummer Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. They were supposed to represent Lithuania at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which had to be cancelled on 03/18/20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were able to take first place in the replacement event hosted by the First German Television. After winning the Lithuanian preliminary again at Pabandom iš Naujo 2021, they are allowed to represent their country at the ESC 2021. #esc #the #roop #2021 #lithuania

Eurovision ist ein Song-Wettbewerb unter den Mitgliedsländern der European Broadcasting Union. Aus jedem der EBU-Mitgliedsländer, die sich um die Teilnahme beworben haben, nimmt ein Vertreter am Wettbewerb teil. Das Festival findet live statt.
