Jessica Alyssa Cerro is an Australian singer who performs under the stage name Montaigne. She should have represented Australia at the ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which was cancelled in March 2020. Instead, she will represent her home country with the song Technicolour at ESC 2021. Cerro participated in Australian radio station Triple J's newcomer competition Triple J Unearthed in 2012 with the song Anyone But Me, where she managed to reach the final. In 2014, she released her first single "I Am Not an End".

Jeangu Macrooy ([ʒɑ̃nˈgy maˈkroːi]; * November 6, 1993 in Paramaribo) is a Surinamese singer and songwriter. With his brother Xillan Macrooy, he formed the duo Between Towers in 2011. In 2020, Dutch public broadcaster AVROTROS announced that Macrooy would be the host country at ESC 2020, and since the Netherlands had won ESC 2019, he was automatically qualified for the final. However, the ESC had to be cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic, on the same day it was announced that Macrooy will represent the Netherlands at the ESC 2021.

Vincent Bueno (* December 10, 1985 in Vienna) is an Austrian singer of Filipino origin. He represents Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in the Netherlands. On February 12, 2016, he participated in the Austrian preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song All We Need is That Love, which he failed to win. In mid-December 2019, it was announced that Bueno would represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam.

The Roop is a Lithuanian pop-rock band from Vilnius. It consists of singer and keyboardist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, drummer Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. They were supposed to represent Lithuania at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which had to be cancelled on 03/18/20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were able to take first place in the replacement event hosted by the First German Television. After winning the Lithuanian preliminary again at Pabandom iš Naujo 2021, they are allowed to represent their country at the ESC 2021.

In January 2021, the band was announced as a participant of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2021. Their song Dark Side was released on January 21, 2021. Then, on February 20, 2021, they won the Finnish preliminary with 551 points, 371 points more than the second-place contestant Teflon Brothers x Pandora. The band will then perform in the second semi-final of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in May.
