«Машина времени» — советская и российская рок-группа, одна из старейших существующих групп русского рока. Основана Андреем Макаревичем и Сергеем Кавагоэ 27 мая 1969 года, их познакомил Юрий Борзов, который придумал название группы «Time Machines». Жанр творчества группы включает элементы классического рока, рок-н-ролла, блюза и бардовской песни.

The Roop is a Lithuanian pop-rock band from Vilnius. It consists of singer and keyboardist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, drummer Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. They were supposed to represent Lithuania at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which had to be cancelled on 03/18/20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were able to take first place in the replacement event hosted by the First German Television. After winning the Lithuanian preliminary again at Pabandom iš Naujo 2021, they are allowed to represent their country at the ESC 2021.

Blind Channel is a Finnish band. On March 6, 2020 the band released their third studio album Violent Pop. It contains eleven song titles. In January 2021, the band was announced as a participant of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2021. Their song Dark Side was released on January 21, 2021. Then, on February 20, 2021, they won the Finnish preliminary with 551 points, 371 points more than the second-place contestant Teflon Brothers x Pandora. The band will then perform in the second semi-final of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in May.

Hooverphonic is a Belgian trip-hop band that has been around since 1995. On October 1, 2019, they were selected by Flemish broadcaster VRT to represent Belgium at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Belgium was the first of the participating countries to announce its performer.

Der 49. Dansk Melodi Grand Prix fand am 23. Februar 2019 in der Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning statt und war der dänische Vorentscheid für den Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv (Israel). Es war das fünfte Mal, dass Herning den Vorentscheid austrug. Im Super-Finale erhielt der Titel "Love Is Forever" vorgetragen von Leonora die meisten Stimmen und gewann damit die Vorentscheidung.

Nachdem sie bei Pabandom iš Naujo 2021 erneut den litauischen Vorentscheid gewannen, dürfen sie ihr Land 2021 am ESC vertreten.
