Fyr og Flamme (dänisch für Feuer und Flamme) ist ein dänisches Popduo, bestehend aus dem Schauspieler Jesper Groth und dem Songwriter/Gitarristen Laurits Emanuel. Im August 2020 veröffentlichten sie ihr erstes Lied Menneskeforbruger, mit dem sie für zwei Wochen den 1. Platz des P3-Radiohitliste erreichen konnten. Øve os på hinanden (dänisch für Uns aneinander üben) ist ein dänischsprachiger Popsong, welcher von Laurits Emanuel geschrieben wurde. Der Titel ist durch die Instrumentierung im Stil der 80er-Jahre geprägt. Laut Aussagen der Gruppe gehe es im Lied darum, einander zu vergeben, wenn man Fehler mache. Weiterhin handle das Lied von einem Paar auf der Tanzfläche, welches ausprobiert, welche Tanzschritte am besten funktionieren. Lediglich im Jahre 2019 erhielt der dänische Beitrag Love Is Forever eine Zeile auf Dänisch. #eurovision #song #contest #2021 #fry #og #flamme #denmark

Der 51. Dansk Melodi Grand Prix fand am 6.03.21 in DR Byen in Kopenhagen statt und war der dänische Vorentscheid für den ESC 2021 in Rotterdam. Nach der Absage des ESC 2020 bestätigte die öffentlich-rechtliche Rundfunkanstalt Danmarks Radio (DR) die Teilnahme Dänemarks am ESC 2021. Gleichzeitig bestätigte DR die Fortsetzung des Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Das Duo Ben & Tan, welches 2020 den dänischen Vorentscheid gewann, wird keinen garantierten Startplatz im Teilnehmerfeld des Vorentscheides erhalten. Das Duo Fyr og Flamme gewann mit ihrem Lied Øve os på hinanden. #eurovision #song #contest

    Dänemark beim Eurovision Song Contest

    Dänemark nahm erstmals 1957 teil und somit bereits an der zweiten Ausgabe Eurovision Song Contest. Dänemark holte Platz 3 bei zehn Teilnehmern. 1958 folgte mit Platz 8 dann ein eher schlechtes Ergebnis, da zu dem Zeitpunkt nur zehn Länder teilnahmen. 1959 und 1961 wurde dann jeweils mit Platz 5 ein gutes Ergebnis erreicht, während das Land 1960 und 1962 nur Platz 10 erreichte. 1963 konnte dann das Paar Grethe & Jørgen den gesamten Wettbewerb gewinnen. Dänemark hat insgesamt 3 mal gewonnen. #eurovision #denmark #song #contest
