Andreas Andresen Haukeland (born April 12, 1993[2]), known by his stage name TIX, is a Norwegian singer, music producer and songwriter. He first became known in Norway for his party music, which is mainly used by young people in connection with the soot party. He has Tourette's syndrome and was also called "Tics" in his school days because of his tics. He eventually formed his stage name "TIX" from this name. Before the final, Haukeland released the English version Fallen Angel, with which he won the preliminary round on February 20, 2021.

Blind Channel is a Finnish band. On March 6, 2020 the band released their third studio album Violent Pop. It contains eleven song titles. In January 2021, the band was announced as a participant of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2021. Their song Dark Side was released on January 21, 2021. Then, on February 20, 2021, they won the Finnish preliminary with 551 points, 371 points more than the second-place contestant Teflon Brothers x Pandora. The band will then perform in the second semi-final of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in May.

Anxhela Peristeri, also known as Anxhela (born March 24, 1986 in Korça, Albania) is an Albanian singer. Anxhela Peristeri was born in Korça in 1986. Her father is of Greek descent, hence the family name is Peristeri. After studying in Tirana, she moved to Greece at the age of twenty, where she participated in the local version of X-Factor, among others. In October 2020, it was announced that Anxhela Peristeri would participate in the competition Festivali i Këngës as one of 26 candidates. In the final on December 23, 2020, she managed to win with the song Karma.

Sie wird ihr Land beim ESC 2021 vertreten. 2009 nahm Efendi erstmals am Gesangswettbewerb Yeni Ulduz 09 teil. Bei der aserbaidschanischen Version von The Voice, Səs Azərbaycan, nahm sie in der Staffel 2015/16 den dritten Platz im Finale ein. Außerdem vertrat sie Aserbaidschan 2019 beim Gesangsfestival Voice of Nur-Sultan in Kasachstan. 2020 setzte sie sich gegen vier Mitbewerber durch und wurde ausgewählt, Aserbaidschan beim ESC 2020 zu vertreten.
