Blas Cantó is a popular Spanish singer who already participated in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the band Auryn. But then the group finished in 2nd place and did not manage to become representatives. Blas became known in Spain after his participation in EuroJunior, the Spanish selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004.

The Roop is a Lithuanian pop-rock band from Vilnius. It consists of singer and keyboardist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, drummer Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. They were supposed to represent Lithuania at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which had to be cancelled on 03/18/20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were able to take first place in the replacement event hosted by the First German Television. After winning the Lithuanian preliminary again at Pabandom iš Naujo 2021, they are allowed to represent their country at the ESC 2021.
